First, the most important thing: your parents still love you, and that won't change.
Their love for you remains the same, and they will still be there for you in their own ways.
Your bond with your parents and siblings is still unique to you
Family is more than just living under the same roof - it's the bond you share with your family members. Even if your family looks different now, it does not mean your bond with them will end.
If you have sibling(s), they’re probably feeling the same things as you do. Talk to them, share how you’ve been feeling, and look out for one another.
Although things may feel different now, the love and bond you share stay. It is okay to express your love and care for them if you wish.
That connection will still continue as you create new memories together.
You are still the special and unique person you always were
The things you love – your hobbies, quirks, favourite foods, dreams, friends – are still yours. You can keep doing the things that make you happy and stay connected with the people who matter to you.
Take a moment to think of all the things you love to do and are good at, things that make you happy. Those things are still yours and they’ll always be a part of you.
You can also reflect and think about the things or people you are grateful for in your life. Spending time with them can help remind you that you’re not alone in this.
This could even be a chance to try something new. Exploring new activities can help you feel motivated, even when other parts of life feel weary.
