Hey, I know this is a tough and confusing time for you.

You might be wondering why your family is going through this. There are many reasons why some parents separate or divorce. Usually, it’s because one or both are unhappy in the relationship, or their feelings towards each other have changed. 

Sometimes, even after they have tried their best to make things work, they are still unable to resolve their problems or differences together and believe they need to be apart to make things better.

Divorce is never an easy decision for anyone.

It is usually the last resort when everything else has failed due to differences and unresolved issues between parents. This doesn't mean your parents don’t care about you or love you anymore. It simply means they have differences or issues that make it difficult for them to live together.
